When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and academic profile details (institution, designation, department). When you enroll in a workshop we collect payment information processed securely through Razorpay — we do not store card details. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve the platform.
We use your information to: • Provide and improve the Academint platform • Process enrollments and send confirmation emails • Issue certificates of completion • Send important account and workshop updates We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Auth), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Profile photos and certificates are stored in Firebase Storage. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Academint uses minimal cookies required for authentication (Firebase session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@academint.com. Account deletion removes your profile and enrollment history from our active systems within 30 days.
We use the following third-party services: • Firebase (Google) — authentication and database • Razorpay — payment processing • Resend — transactional email delivery Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they receive.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by email. Continued use of Academint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
